I made a skirt today, yay! I had a feeling there was some special fabric waiting for me at the thrift store, and I was not disappointed. The floral was a fitted sheet, and it's lined with a lovely green cut from a tablecloth. I originally made it so the green hung longer, but I didn't like how it looked so cut it shorter.
I've already bought the fabric for the next one ... come on, summer!

Oh, it's lovely. I don't think I've worn a skirt for 20 years! No wonder, my daughter never does.
