Blind Contour Buddhas*. I threw water on them ... listen to them scream, "I'm melting! I'm melting!" *Blind Contour drawings are done looking at the object, but not the paper. See links to scads of them over at Inkfinger.

Oh, rub that belly for good luck! They are just adorable.
Such happy BCs. :o) These are really neat Hashi. I can see why they made you smile. And I have to say "again"...I just LOVE your journal pages. They are so bright and wonderful.
What great bc drawings. And I love little Buddhas!!! I have really enjoyed reading through your blog. Lovely art work and lovely journal pages. You are very inspiring! MD
I really like what you've been doing with transformed books. I've been working with them since the early/ middle 90s and find it to be so much fun to create a portable little gallery. Wonderful.
OH my goodness...These little jello buddhas have made even a sunny Pennsylvania day sunnier! I can just imagine your delight when you glanced down and saw their happy little meltie bodies. Hashi, I love your blog... I visit it a lot even though I write very little. :-)

Hashi, your buddhas are the best! What a great idea and what fun and funny drawings.
The Buddha-melting is such fun! And I love the white daisies on that background. Your blog is fun to visit.
I don't know about the other 3, but one of those guys is definitely channeling Yoda!
Very cool ... that's my next exercise ... blind contours ... looks like a great way to train your eye, plus a lot of fun!

Hashi, I think your Buddahs are adorable. And the colours in the daisies painting are simply MAGICAL! Great talent.
The buddhas are very sweet. I like Yoda on the bottom left.
