EDM Challenge #19: Draw something you've made. I made Bruce a few years ago, from a pattern by Australian dollmaker Lynne Butcher. He looks too slim in my illustration, and I ran out of paper before drawing his boots. So I've included a photo to show what he really looks like. He's on his way to the Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras in Sydney. And yes, he has "protection" in his shoulder bag.

Oh, how wonderful he is! In the original and in the drawing. I like how the b/w drawing emphasizes line and the original has such strong colors.

OMG that doll is hilarious! The drawing is fun too but that doll just made me smile! And I really needed that today.

Thanks :)

Hi Hashi... Bruce is wonderful! I smiled at the drawing, and then scrolled down and laughed out loud at the original.

Ha Hashi, I was just looking on the links page in EDM and found this. He's brilliant! How big is he? Where do you keep him? Very funny!

If you can turn a sketch into this doll you are an artist and a wizard!
