Have a great Thanksgiving Weekend Hashi!

Hashi, what is thanksgiving about? Is it to remember the Puritans who arrived in America? A Christian festival or for all kinds of people?
We don't have anything like that in Australia - in fact our 'arrival of white people' day in January is regarded by some people as 'Invasion Day'.

Wendy, Thanksgiving is for all religions. It was supposedly started by the pilgrims giving thanks for their new life away from the oppression they suffered in England. It's nice in that it's all about family getting together, without gift giving. What's weird about it is the prescribed menu. I'm Australian, like you, so I don't have the cultural background for Thanksgiving, but I am growing to appreciate it.

I love this collage. How did you do it? Your Christmas cards are so appealing too.

Susan, I did it in Photoshop, with generous use of the Multiply filter :-)
