The Australian company, Westfield, is a big builder of shopping malls over here. There are currently two separate Westfield malls a few blocks apart in Woodland Hills that are going to be conjoined by more shops, condominiums, restaurants, and a "paseo". The plans have been public for at least seven years, but are coming closer to fruition. This building is on the in-between land slated for redevelopment; the restaurant vacated some time ago, and it'll be demolished in the next year or two. Just what LA needs ... another mega-mall.
