November 1

Mexican Potato Omelet What's not to love about potatoes, eggs and cheese? Add a touch of fresh tomato salsa, and it's all good. Martha's done it again. You'll find the recipe here.

I am pleased to report that I can still sew with my leg in a cast. A little lead-footedly, I admit. Same with driving: I don't quite have the finesse I used to, but I can still do the deed. I spent the whole weekend a-makin' stuff, but have nothing to show (you) for it. Maybe tomorrow morning, before work, there'll be enough light to shoot a few of the Christmas goodies I've made. Those that will end up under the trees of folks who don't read this blog, anyway.

Despite having all the prezzies planned, and more than half of them made, I'm still very excited about Sew Mama Sew's fourth annual Handmade Holidays series, which started today. I'll be stalking them daily for inspiration for future gifts. Yay for November!

Lol - so happy you left a comment so I could find yours! When I saw that cast my first thought was heavy-footed sewing, lol! Glad to see you worked your way through that! I think I might go through withdrawal if I had to - yikes! Addicted much? Eggs look delicious though :)
