My housemate Pennee invited me to attend the 1st Thursday ArtWalk in San Pedro last night. It's been many (8? 9?) years since I'd made the drive to this vibrant event, so I gladly accepted. The town was really hopping, full of art lovers, food trucks, live music, and grungy teens lining up to get into noisy venues. It's quite the fun scene!
I loved this piece, encased in a perspex box, by the sculptor Hiroko. You can see more of his work here.
Tomorrow is Petroglyph Day! I'm excited!
