New lens

After reading this e-book, I decided I needed a 50mm lens with a lower f-stop than anything I currently own. It arrived today; I didn't have much time to play with it but this little series shows the varying depths of field that different f-stops yield. I'm going to have fun with this baby.

My buddy Chris and I are heading out for a camping trip tomorrow. Expect photos from here and here in coming days. Woohoo!
